Roundtable: AI Is Not Your Biggest Risk. Under-Developed Brain Skills Are

14th April 2026‍ ‍

The Australia-UK Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a roundtable, exploring the critical intersection of neuroscience and organisational strategy: "AI Is Not Your Biggest Risk: Under-Developed Brain Skills Are."

The discussion was led by Phillip Campbell, Cognitive Neuroscientist, CEO of enigmaFIT, and author of the bestseller Brain Habits. Phillip challenged the traditional focus on AI investment, arguing that a true competitive advantage in the AI era is driven by "Brain Capital" -the cognitive health and adaptability required to direct technology effectively.

This session provided a select group of CEOs and senior executives with insights into Fluid Thinking and the science of strengthening the brain’s ability to solve novel problems in real-time. It was a fascinating look at why leadership development must evolve to focus on the "cognitive engine" beneath our decision-making.

Our thanks to Phillip Campbell for sharing his world-class expertise and to our members for their contributions to the discussion.
