Young Professionals Reception - Women in Sport

In partnership with NAB, Qantas and Multiplex, the Australia-UK Chamber of Commerce was delighted to host another Young Professionals Reception: Women in Sport at Australia House.
The Australian Deputy High Commissioner to the UK Elisabeth Bowes PSM, welcomed guests and provided a special address.
The panel discussion, moderated by award-winning journalist Jacquelin Magnay, featured insights from:
Charli Grant, Matildas and Tottenham Hotspur Women’s player
Caitlin Wood, professional racing driver and the first Australian woman to win at Nürburgring
Together, the panellists shared their inspirational experiences navigating high-performance sport, breaking barriers, and advocating for greater visibility and representation of women in their fields.
The session concluded with a Q&A and a networking reception, bringing together 170 young professionals from over 100 different companies across a variety of industry sectors.
