This event, presented by CPA Australia in collaboration with the Australia-United Kingdom Chamber of Commerce, is designed for accounting and finance professionals eager to advance their careers and hone their leadership skills.
In today’s dynamic business environment, leadership is not just about climbing the corporate ladder - it's about making a meaningful impact. Our panel of senior accountants will share their unique journeys, highlighting the diverse paths to leadership within the accounting profession. You’ll hear firsthand about the challenges they’ve faced, the strategies they’ve employed, and the pivotal moments that have shaped their careers.
Following the panel discussion, you’ll have the opportunity to engage directly with these leaders during a Q&A session. This is your chance to ask pressing questions and gain deeper insights into the nuances of effective leadership.

Chris is an accomplished Chief Financial Officer with responsibility for the Finance, Royalties, I.T, Operations and Facilities teams within Sony Music UK and Ireland.
Working across the entire organization Chris is a highly respected, commercially driven finance professional with extensive media experience in both a financial controller, business partnering roles as well as experience in business-led financial projections including system implementation, process change and controls.
Head of Division: Financial Planning and Analysis, Bank of England
Kristy is a Head of Division at the Bank of England, leading on Financial Planning and Analysis. The Bank of England is the UK’s central bank, responsible for the monetary and financial stability. Before this, Kristy held finance and transformation roles in Financial Services in the UK and Australia and was a lecturer in Accounting and Finance. Kristy was the President for CPA Australia Europe branch in 2016 and has held charity board, committee and council roles. She mentors on various mentoring programmes and is an active advocate for Diversity and Inclusion and social mobility.

• 6:30 PM Panel Discussion: Senior accountants from CPA Australia and partner organisations share their leadership journeys, challenges, and successes.
• 7:20 PM Q&A Session: Engage directly with the panellists during a moderated Q&A session.
• 7:30 PM Group Networking: Break out into smaller groups (maximum of 10 people per group) for a 30-minute discussion with a senior leader.
• 8:00 PM Open Networking: Conclude the event with a 30-minute networking reception.
