The Australia-UK Chamber of Commerce is pleased to advise that Richard Basil-Jones has been appointed as Executive Director. Richard will be responsible for the operations of the Chamber, and leading the team in the added opportunities which lie ahead following the recently ratified Free Trade Agreement between Australia and the UK.

Joanne Holland, who is in Australia dealing with urgent family issues, will retain her CEO role working alongside Richard on strategic opportunities. 

Richard is an Australian business leader who has worked across Australia, UK, Europe and other international markets. He is keen to leverage his broad commercial experience and exceptional relationship building skills in this internationally focussed role. 

Richard has held senior leadership positions in global business-to-business service companies, working across a wide range of industry sectors, including FMCG, Media & Entertainment and with clients from Healthcare, Financial Services, as well as Government.
