Member News: Telstra’s New Accessibility Action Plan

Telstra is proud to be a corporate leader in serving customers with disability and addressing barriers to accessibility and inclusion.

In 1996 Telstra formalised commitments to ensure Australians with disability have access to communications, including to the latest technological advances, by becoming one of the first major Australian corporations to lodge a Disability Action Plan with the Australian Human Rights Commission.

Now, after seven Action Plans, Telstra has launched its FY21 Accessibility Action Plan. An important element of responsible business is making sure nobody is left behind and in this Accessibility Action Plan you will find a wide range of actions, aimed at benefiting Our Customers, Our Candidates and Our Colleagues, to ensure that we are bringing everyone along on our accessibility journey.
