The Australian High Commission in the UK has launched a new website showcasing the opportunities and potential benefits of the Australia-UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA).
Following the official launch in June 2020, the FTA negotiations are now underway between the Australian and UK Governments. The Chamber has been working with its Members to highlight their priorities for inclusion in the FTA, examining the challenges facing the relationship and exploring market opportunities to help unlock greater trade and investment flows between the two countries.
The Australian High Commission’s new site showcases what the FTA means to businesses and governments and how it can strengthen the existing bilateral relationship of two friendly nations with a long, shared history.
Click here to hear the Chamber’s CEO, Catherine Woo, speak about what this FTA could mean for the bilateral relationship.
In partnership with DFAT and the Australian High Commission the Chamber has developed several case studies to showcase the opportunities the FTA may bring for our Members. A big thanks to Chamber Member Insignis Media for producing this series with the Chamber.
