Australia – UK Natural Trading Partners: Trade & Investment Update 2021
We are thrilled to share with you Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade)‘s official trade & investment report entitled, Australia-UK: Natural Trading Partners: Trade & Investment Update 2021. Following the announcement of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) in Principle announced earlier this year, the report highlights the multiple and various benefits the finalised agreement will provide for Australian and UK businesses.
The Chamber was delighted to be able to help facilitate the collaboration of this report and provide case studies from our Members, including Accolade Wines, BAE Systems, Telstra, and Link Group. The report also features contributions from Member allies, Octopus Energy and BJSS.
“Packed with data, industry viewpoints and contributions from The Hon Dan Tehan MP, Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment and The Hon George Brandis QC, Australian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, this is a great way to get up to speed on what companies and key industry associations believe are the opportunities and the potential under the future Australia-UK Free Trade Agreement”, says Jennifer Mackinlay, Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner, UK, Ireland and the Nordics at Australian Trade and Investment Commission.
We look forward to sharing more about the implementation of the FTA in due course.
