HE the Hon George Brandis QC, Australian High Commissioner to the UK, Australian High Commission
The Hon George Brandis QC was appointed Australian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom in May 2018. Mr Brandis has had a distinguished political career in Australia as a member of the Federal Parliament. His appointments have included Attorney-General, Vice-President of the Executive Council, Leader of the Government in the Senate, Federal Minister for the Arts, and Deputy Leader of the Government in the Senate.
HE Vicki Treadell CMG, MVO, British High Commissioner to Australia, British High Commission
Her Excellency Vicki Treadell CMG, MVO took up her appointment as British High Commissioner to Australia on 13 March 2019. Mrs Treadell has held senior roles in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office since she began her Foreign Service career in 1979. Most recently, Mrs Treadell served as the British High Commissioner to Malaysia (2014 to 2019) and New Zealand (2010 to 2014) and Deputy High Commissioner to India (2006 to 2010).
