Chartered Member Leaders Reception with the Honourable George Brandis QC, Australian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom

Thank you to those who joined us on Tuesday 30th November for an evening reception in partnership with the West Midlands Growth Company.

It was a pleasure to hear from special guest and Mayor of the West Midlands, Andy Street and to see so many Members and guests interested in the opportunities present for investors in the West Midlands, particularly leading up to the hosting of the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. Our apologies once again that the Australian High Commissioner to the UK, the Hon George Brandis QC was unable to attend, however in this instance his absence does symbolise that our two countries are getting ever closer to signing a world-class and world-first Free Trade Agreement.
