Capital 2020:
The Future of Capital Raising & Venture Investment
The global capital landscape is changing with more funding sources for fast-growth companies than ever before. A huge boom in private markets means that more companies are able to raise money from private investors including venture capital, family funds and private equity. 2019 saw increasing scrutiny of privately backed companies like WeWork and Uber with a rigorous emphasis on profitability and performance. COVID-19 looks set to raise investor requirements for companies that can demonstrate resilience.
How is COVID-19 impacting the VC sector and how will it change investor decision-making? What will the new opportunities be? And what do you need to know to raise in the future?
