Jonathan Gillham, Chief Economist and Director of Econometrics and Economic Modelling, PwC

Jonathan is a Director at PwC and co-leads PwC UK’s economics practice. He specialises in economic impact assessment and developing macroeconomic scenarios. He has overseen a broad range of impact assessments for both private and public sector clients.

Jonathan is a member of the Academic Advisory Panel of the OBR. Prior to joining PwC he was a senior economist at HM Treasury.

Anthony Drury, Managing Director UK, Zip Co

Anthony Drury is the UK Managing Director of Zip, leading the launch of the global Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) company in the UK. He is an expert in fintech growth strategy and scale-ups, international business development and payments transformation.

Zip, an Australian company, was founded in 2013 and has over 5 million customers across the globe. With offices in Australia, US, New Zealand and now the UK; Zip is continuing to increase their global presence across the rest of Europe, Middle East, Asia and the Americas.

Prior to working at Zip, Anthony held a variety of positions at Paypal, American Express and Easyjet across Europe and Asia Pacific. He also founded and led a start up during the dot com boom. Now residing in London, Anthony is originally from Sydney, Australia and has an MBA and a Masters in
eCommerce Management from Macquarie Graduate School of Management.

Matt Alabaster, Partner, Strategy and Trade, PwC

Matt works with companies and their investors to develop, refine and review strategies for growth in engineering and technology-driven sectors.

He has a particular focus on ‘step change’ growth strategies, including M&A, new market entry, portfolio strategy and cross-border investments.
